Robertson Airport

In 1990 the Tomasso family completed renovation and expansion of the 3,600-foot runway Robertson Airport in Plainville, Connecticut.

The expansion was notable for its successful relocation and restoration of major wetlands, the first such project in New England. The work has been cited as a successful resettling of both plants and animals to enable the airport and the natural habitat to coexist.

Interstate Aviation is the fixed base operator at Robertson. Interstate offers charter flights, flight instruction, aircraft sales and aircraft maintenance.

To reach Robertson Airport take Exit 1 off of Route 72 West in Plainville, Connecticut. The airport is on Johnson Avenue.
